About Caressa Bell
Caressa is a proven executive who has led some of the largest enterprise transformation initiatives in healthcare. Most recently, she served as the executive business leader at Kaiser Permanente, where she directed a billion-dollar electronic health record (EHR) consolidation program that reshaped hospital and medical group operations across California.
The initiative successfully migrated over 38 million patient records — representing more than 20 years of patient data — and processed more than 100 million registry entries, marking one of the largest Epic consolidations in the nation. Beyond the technical feat, the transformation delivered measurable operational gains: standardized workflows across hospitals, a 19% improvement in database performance, and 7–15% faster response times for users. The cutover was completed ahead of schedule, reducing disruption and accelerating time-to-value — a demonstration of disciplined execution at enterprise scale.
She also led the rollout of a national membership and billing platform, streamlining systems for millions of members and tens of thousands of employer groups. By replacing fragmented processes with a unified platform, the program improved accuracy, reduced administrative overhead, and provided a foundation for scalable operations across all regions.
